Award winning pub group, Knife & Fork Food, has announced the next date in its exclusive Wine Club series.
The next event will take place on Tuesday 5th July at The Conway, Pontcanna.
Knife & Fork have once again teamed up with Oxford Wines and the Wales Academy of Wine for a series of themed events dedicated to the wonderful grape. The next date in the series will be taking guests’ taste buds on a wine tour of North American vineyards, serving up classics such as ‘Wildwood Chardonnay’ from California Delta, ‘Frog’s Leap Zinfandel’ from Napa Valley and ‘Cabaret Frank’ from Lodi Valley.
Host Charles Reardon Smith, wine consultant at the Wales Academy of Wine, will be offering tasting tips and advice on where to buy the best wine. The tasting evening will be suitable for both wine connoisseurs and novices alike.
Sharon Noakes, Director at Knife & Fork Food, said ahead of the event: “Our inaugural Wine Club proved to be a really popular event, with plenty of opportunity for wine lovers, new and old, to discover wines that we hope will become firm favourites. We hope this event will offer up just as much interesting and lively discussion and debate as the last.”
The Wine Clubs by Knife & Fork Food will take place every two months. Following this event, the next Wine Club will take place at The Discovery on Tuesday 26th July, where guests can taste wines from South America.
Knife & Fork Food’s Wine Club series continues at The Conway on Tuesday 5th July at 7pm. Call 029 2022 4373 to reserve your spot. Six course wine tasting menu including nibbles for £15. Limited spaces are available.
