We will always keep some tables in reserve, so it’s worth giving us a call if you can’t find what you are looking for.
We’re situated within walking distance of leafy Roath Park and offer somewhere you can relax with a drink or a meal in the large, airy bar or in the restaurant area. The formula follows that of our other pubs, with the regularly changing blackboard menu offering both pub classics as well as inspiringly unusual dishes, whilst the bar serves a selection of guest ales and a great wine list.
A spacious, light and airy function room area is doubling up as a restaurant space whilst we need to operate under social distancing measures, to ensure we can accommodate as many of our customers who wish to join us. We also have plenty of availability for outside eating and drinking.
The Discovery closes on Sunday evenings and all day Monday. The kitchen closes 2.30-5pm Tuesday to Friday and last orders for food on Sunday are at 5pm.
